The contour powder in Light/Medium is a warm, orange toned bronze with a satin finish and the contour powder in the Medium/Dark powder is a cool toned brown with a satin finish. I really do think that Maybelline should have perhaps created a cool toned powder for both shades seeing as itвЂ™s designed for contouring, as warm shades arenвЂ™t ideal as they donвЂ™t create the natural shadow that a cooler toned powder can.

TheВ Maybelline Master Sculpt Contouring Palette in Light/Medium is warm toned, whereas theВ Maybelline Master Sculpt Contouring Palette in Medium/Dark is cool toned. The brush is a little scratchy and the bristles arenвЂ™t dense or fluffy enough in my opinion, to be able to apply and blend the contour powder into the skin. The packaging is quite bulky, and I would personally prefer it if they skipped the brush and mirror to make the packaging a little more streamlined. Inside each compact, there is a contour shade and an highlighter shade within a round pan, and the powder lifts up to reveal a mirror, and a contouring brush. TheВ Maybelline Master Sculpt Contouring Palettes are packaged within black, plastic square compacts which are the same size and design as the Maybelline Fit Me Powder compacts.
